Brashear hosted the baseball team from Higbee Friday night. Higbee jumped on the scoreboard with a solo homer in the top of the first, but Brashear answered with a run in the 2nd, three in the 4th, two in the 5th, and four in the 6th to claim a 10-7 victory. Austin Peterson homered and had 3 hits and 3 rbi's for Brashear, Brandon Jochimsen had a triple, a double, and a single, driving in 2 rbi's, with Lane Stutsman and Carson Erwin also having hits. Jochimsen got the start, striking out 9 and giving up 1 earned run in 6 innings. Garrett Housman pitched in relief, striking out 2.
